My Favourite Liquid Highlighters

A few weeks ago I shared my favourite powder highlighters, and today I'm back with my Favourite Liquid Highlighters! Honestly, I do prefer a powder highlight, but I do love adding a drop of liquid highlighter into my liquid foundation for a glowy look. Here are my 6 favourite colours/formulas!

1. Benefit Sun Beam (reviewed here) - I've been obsessed with this shade for the past few months, and I'm actually almost done with this bottle! This is a bronzey highlighter that is amazing in the Summer with a tan, but I also love year year-round. Benefit knows how to make a good liquid highlighter - three of them made it into my favourites!

2. Benefit High Beam (reviewed here) - This was my first ever high-end product, and I'm actually currently on my second bottle of High Beam - it's that good! High Beam is a gorgeous pinky silver highlighter that adds the perfect glow to my cheekbones. A definite must-have, in my opinion.

3. St. Tropez Skin Illuminator Gold* (reviewed here) - If you're a fan of golden highlighters, this one is for you! This highlighter goes a long way, so only use the tiniest amount. I really love the golden glow that this brings to my cheekbones, and the formula stays looking great all day long.

4. NARS Orgasm Illuminator - I just have a deluxe sample of this one, and I don't think I'll be needing to buy a full size tube anytime soon! This highlighter is a shimmery peach/coral shade, and as you would expect, it pairs beautifully with NARS Orgasm powder blush. This isn't one that I would mix in with my foundation since it does have a peachy tint to it.

5. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal - This is another deluxe sample, and one of my only products from Becca. Opal is a golden pearl shade, and this formula blends effortlessly into my skin for a natural finish.

6. Benefit Girl Meets Pearl* (Reviewed here) - Initially, this highlighter looks quite pink, but once it's blended out it turns into a beautiful golden highlight. If that's not enough, Girl Meets Pearl has a lovely raspberry scent (I'm not sure why this is important, but I really enjoy it)! This highlighter catches the light beautifully, without making you look oily.

So there you have it, my favourite liquid highlighters! I haven't found an amazing liquid highlighter from the drugstore, so mine are all high-end right now. If you have any drugstore recommendations, please leave them in a comment below! What are your favourite liquid highlighters?:)

  1. hehe love the raspberry scent! and these are all great, I have a tiny sample of sunbeam and it's really pretty, my skin is a bit yellow so i definitely have been more drawn to gold-ish highlighters although i'm still figuring out exactly how to use them!

  5. i'm glad i bought the little high beam from when benefit use to sell a trio of highbeam, poppy and benetint. i'm still working my way through it. that tiny thing lasts a LONG time BUT actually i prefer the champagne sheen that watts up gives. i find i'm moving away from the mroe pink highlights.

    1. Benefit's highlighters last ages!!
I really love the colour of High Beam, but I find that the cream formula can sometimes move around my foundation :(

  6. Highlighters are a product I have not gotten into yet. I think because I usually have oily skin I tend to go for matte looks.

    1. I know that some girls with oily skin like to use a matte foundation and then add a bit of a highlighter to add some dimension! :)

  7. I really don't need any more highlighters (not that that's ever stopped me), but that Becca one looks awesome. I haven't tried any of their products but I've been so tempted while in Sephora lately.
