My Favourite Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes

Happy Friday everyone! Today I thought that I'd share with you my favourite Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes. I have 7 of these blushes in my collection, but I picked my top 4 to share with you today. If you've never tried one of these blushes before - what are you waiting for? This blush formula from Tarte claims to wear or 12 hours, which is a bit of a stretch as they last on my cheeks for about 8 hours. Nevertheless, I still love this formula! These blushes sell for $31 CAD/0.2 oz and can be found at Sephora.

Blushing Bride (reviewed here) - I absolutely love this berry toned blush with golden shimmer. This is such a great Fall/Winter blush. Blushing Bride is quite a bold blush, so use a light hand with this one!

Frisky (reviewed here) - This is another shimmery shade, and I get a lot of wear out of this blush in the Spring and Summer months. This red toned blush with golden shimmer can look quite bold when swatched, but it blends into my skin beautifully. If you've tried Tarte's Natural Beauty and found it a bit too bold or red, I highly recommend giving Frisky a try.

Tipsy (reviewed here) - I never thought that I would love an orange blush until I tried Tipsy! This blush is just gorgeous, and I wore it a ton this past Spring and Summer. This blush doesn't swatch super well, but it does apply beautifully to my cheeks.

Exposed (reviewed here) - This is perhaps the most famous Tarte blush shade, and I definitely understand the hype! Believe it or not, lately I've really been enjoying using Exposed lightly all over my face. For pale ladies like myself, Exposed can be both a great natural blush or a light all over bronzer. However, when built up to be worn as a blush more of the pinky tones come through.

So there you have it, my favourite Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes! Of course, I don't own all of the shades in this range, but these are my favourites out of the ones that I do own. I also have my eyes on the new shades Flush and True Love - they look beautiful! Have you tried any of Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blushes? Which shades are your favourites?

  3. Frisky and blushing bride look absolutely stunning! I own a couple and I agree, they're lovely! My only complaint is that they seem to dry out (like how clay dries out!). Did you experience this?

    1. Thanks! Hmm well I find the formula to be on the drier side to start off with. Maybe I haven't had mine for long enough to notice anything major?

  4. 5ever regretting the fact that I picked up Frisky in the cheek tint/gel format instead of the powder version, because I never use the tints :(
I still want to pick up Frisky in the powder version and Exposed though! Heck, I want to try them all if I could!

    1. I'm always tempted by their tints, but I know I'll never use them!

  5. I love me some Tarte blushes! I have a bunch of minis from various sets. I love having minis because it's not like I'd ever finish up a full size. Plus they're so darn cute.
