NARS Blush in Sin

About a year ago, I became completely obsessed with NARS' blushes, and I acquired quite the collection of shades! I've recently rediscovered one of my favourites, which is Sin ($33 CAD/0.16 oz.). I was surprised to find that I haven't reviewed this blush yet, so here I am today with my review!

"NARS Blush offers a range of translucent, natural shades, each with a subtle pink for natural blush undertone, created to highlight the complexion. Designed to be worn alone or layered together for more depth, NARS Blush provides a healthy glow to flatter any skintone." - Sephora

NARS' Blush in Sin is a beautiful berry with golden shimmer. NARS' powder blushes are incredibly soft & silky, and the pigmentation is spot on. These blushes come packaged in NARS' iconic black and white compacts - yes, they do get dirty fairly quickly. However, I really don't mind, and I still love the way that the packaging looks when it's a bit beat up. I find that I love the shade Sin in the Fall and Winter months, but I don't find myself reaching for it all that much in the warmer seasons. Sin has recently recaptured my attention, and I couldn't be happier about it!

I do recommend using a bit of a fluffier brush to apply NARS' Sin (Real Techniques' Blush Brush works wonderfully), as a denser blush brush can apply way too much and can make this shade look a bit muddy. When applied in the right way, Sin looks absolutely gorgeous, and it's been my go-to blush over the past few weeks. I really love the golden glow that Sin brings to my cheeks, and it pairs beautifully with NARS' Albatross highlighter. However, you could easily get away with skipping the highlighter with this blush. NARS' blushes last all day on my cheeks, and they start to fade around the 8-9 hour mark.

If you haven't tried any of NARS' blushes, what are you waiting for?! There are so many beautiful shades in this line, so there's bound to be something for everyone. If you're in the market for a new berry blush, I highly recommend checking out NARS' Sin. What blush are you currently obsessed with? :)

  4. Sin was one of the earlier blushes that I bought from NARS years ago. It's still in heavy rotation, which says a lot considering how much my blush collection has grown since then. Another favorite NARS of mine is Deep Throat.
