Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!! I hope you're all having an amazing day, and sporting some festive green attire :) Today I have another product from Benefit to share with you today - Stay Don't Stray* ($30 CAD/10ml). This is a primer that can be used on your lids for shadows, or underneath your eyes for concealers. I love the dual usage for this product, I've never tried anything like it!
Benefit's Stay Don't Stray has recently changed packaging, and I love this new bottle. The old packaging included a pump, but this new bottle has an easy to use wand. I find this a lot easier to control the amount of product that you use, and there's a less likely chance of faulty packaging. Benefit's Stay Don't Stray is a dual use primer, which can be used on your lids or underneath your eyes. I like using it both places, and I find that it really does work! I use a dot or two on my lids prior to applying my eye shadows, and underneath my eyes prior to applying concealer. Stay Don't Stray helps to increase the wear time of my shadows and concealers, which makes me very happy! This product comes in two shades, and I use the shade Light/Medium. I don't find that this product provides very much coverage, and the colour of this product blends into my skin nicely.
I'm really enjoying Benefit's Stay Don't Stray to help prolong the wear time of my products. I love that this product didn't crease on me, and I think that it would work well on all skin types. Stay Don't Stray will come in handy for anyone wanting a dual use product. Have you tried Benefit's Stay Don't Stray before? Do you use a primer on your lids or for your concealer? :)
I use UD's eyelid primer but I have heard this is a worthy alternative.

I like UD's too! :)
DeleteI tried this primer and it didn't work for me. I'm finding Too Faced Shadow Insurance to be quite effective though!
ReplyDeleteOh really?! I also have Shadow Insurance & I really like it! :)
DeleteSounds amazing:) i love anything Benefit!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I know right, who doesn't love Benefit? :)
DeleteNow this I'm definitely buying!
ReplyDeleteYay! I hope you like it :)
DeleteI bought this yesterday and used it today - love it so far! However I got the old packaging with the pump. Oh well, it's still a great product. :-)
DeleteI'm glad you picked it up & you're liking it! Ya I think they're just switching over to the new packaging, so it's kind of by chance which one you get!
Deleteglad to hear the new one comes with a wand. It will make application a breeze.
ReplyDeleteI like this packaging a lot better! :)
DeleteThis stuff is brilliant. I have a mini and it's lasted me for ages, it really does make my concealer stay put. Xx
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing? :)
DeleteI wish they changed it to a brush dispenser. The pump was super wonky but doe foot applicator is too unsanitary for my liking :S
ReplyDeleteAw that's too bad! I don't have any issues with the way it is now, but a squeezy tube would be better since you could get all of the product out!
DeleteI'll have to try this. I have such bad luck with primers. I've yet to find one that works all the time. The best so far is UDPP, but it only works 75-80% of the time. Stupid oily lids.
ReplyDeleteYou should give this a try! I also really like Too Faced Shadow Insurance :)
DeleteI really, really love Wet 'n Wild's Fergie-Ferg primer (just picked up a matte version last week) but this looks appealing...it seems really creamy, which is great for a smooth, solid application. Definitely on my radar, now!
ReplyDeleteLove the name of that one! And I bet it's super affordable!
DeleteI bought this product once and returned it without trying it. I forget what my reasoning was at the time, probably that I didn't use too much other than MAC paint pots as eye shadow bases.
ReplyDeleteFair point! It's definitely a product that I need to remind myself to use!
