EOTD - Green with Envy

St. Patrick's Day is coming up quickly, and I've been playing with a lot of green makeup these past few weeks! I put together a green eye look to share with you, and I hope that you're inspired to get a little festive and try it out for yourself! :)

Products Used:
Benefit Stay Don't Stray*
Bourjois Volumizer Ultra Black Mascara* (reviewed here)
Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick in Gossip Green*
NYC Sparkle Eye Dust in Aquamarine Sparkle*
Lush Healthy Liquid Eyeliner*
Lush Wise Cream Eyeshadow*
Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Perfect Black (reviewed here)
NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Habanera - green shadow only (reviewed here)
The Body Shop Colour Crush in Sweet Pea* and Fig Leaf*

I started by prepping my eyes with a thin layer of Benefit's Stay Don't Stray. I then applied Lush's Wise Cream Eyeshadow all over my lids for a wash of colour and a creamy base. Next, I used The Body Shop Colour Crush in Sweet Pea all over my lids, and Fig Leaf in my crease for some dimension. I patted on the green shade from NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Habanera, which helped to brighten up this look. Next, I used NYC's Sparkle Eye Dust in Aquamarine Sparkle in the middle of my lids for some shimmer. To line my eyes, I used Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Perfect Black, since I always need to use a black liner! I topped that off with Lush's Healthy Liquid Eyeliner, which is a bright green shade. On my lower lash line I used Rimmel's Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick in Gossip Green, but this can also be used as a shadow. Finally I coated my lashes with Bourjois' Volumizer Ultra Black Mascara.

I hope you enjoyed the first of my St. Patrick's day looks! Let me know if you would like to see any other festive looks. I like this look because it's still fairly subtle, and not too dramatic. What's your favourite way to wear green makeup? :)

  8. Thanks for this post, I TOTALLY forgot in was St Patricks day soon haha. I normally am so scared of green makeup, since I wore it as a teen and got it so wrong! I may have to be brave enough though and try this look. You look stunning!

    1. Aha! Greens can be tricky to pull off, but I'm loving lighter greens & mixing them with more neutral shades :)
