essence colour & go nail polish - naughty and pink!

Is it Springtime yet? I'm still having to rock the Winter coat here in Ottawa - I can't wait for the day that I can step outside without it! While it may not look like Spring outside, my nails are another story. I've been wearing essence's colour & go nail polish in naughty and pink!* ($1.99/8 ml) all week long, and I'm absolutely loving it!

"colour explosion! the huge colour & go range has the beloved gel-shine finish with a highly intensive shine and an extremely short drying time for perfectly polished nails in a flash! the patented quick & easy brush is particularly flat for an even easier application. the 8ml bottle has a cool essence design – with the usual colour-coded cap in the corresponding nail polish colour." - essence

essence colour & go nail polish - naughty and pink!

essence's colour & go nail polishes come packaged in these cute little bottles with a colour-coordinating lid. You get 8ml of polish, which is a lot less than the standard 15ml - but really, when do you ever finish off a full bottle of polish? naughty and pink! is a bright pink polish with a semi sheer formula. I used two coats in my mani, and you can still slightly see my nail line. This hasn't been bothering me though, and I really love the glossy finish of this polish. Even though this colour is fairly bright, I find that it still works well with my pale skin tone. This formula dried quickly, and it lasted four days before I got my first chip - impressive!

I'm really impressed with this polish! For only $2 you still get great quality, and a long-wearing formula. This bright shade has been tricking my mind that it's Spring, which I'm not going to complain about. Have you pulled out any of your brighter polishes yet? :)

  2. WHEN WILL WINTER END?!

I love the colour of this, but the formula is, yeah, a bit too sheer for my liking. That said, finding a nice hot pink can be a bit tough, especially at a good price point like this...so nothing a single white undercoat can't fix!

I think it would look great over a white polish!

  8. I love this shade! I'm kind of glad the bottles are only 8ml, because you're right -- I've never finished a full bottle of polish. 2 bucks is such a great price. I need moaaaaar.
