February 2014 Empties

It's that time again: Empties! I absolutely love bringing these empties posts to you, because it pushes me to try to use up as many products as possible, instead of just hoarding half empty bottles. This month I have quite a few skincare and lip product empties, so let's hop right in!

Quo Nail Polish Remover - This does the job well & I would definitely repurchase.

Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo & Conditioner* (reviewed here) - I absolutely loved these! If you have dry hair, you need to try these out. My hair was left feeling soft, manageable, and almost frizz free!

Veet In-Shower Hair Removal Cream - Shea Butter & Lily* (reviewed here) - I really, really loved this! You apply this cream to your legs before hopping in the shower, then rinse off, and voila! - the hair is gone! I will say that I went through this large bottle fairly quickly though.

Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton Body Lotion (reviewed here) - Oh my gosh. This scent is amazing! If you like clean, fresh scents, then please go and give this one a sniff!

Institut Esthederm Beauty Hand Cream* (reviewed here) - This was a really nice cream, but I found that I just didn't love the scent. For $40, I need to absolutely love a hand cream to justify a repurchase!

Lush Dirty Springwash Shower Gel* (reviewed here) - This body wash had a really nice minty scent that made it great for morning showers!

Vichy Self Tanner Moisturizing Milk Face & Body* (reviewed here) - I've gone through a few bottles of this throughout the years & I would definitely repurchase! However, I do really like St. Tropez' self tanning lotion...

Tval Valentine Soy Wax Candle - Vanilla & Cinnamon* (reviewed here) - This smelt really nice, but I burnt through it is only a few hours!

The Body Shop Almond Nail & Cuticle Oil (reviewed here) - I loved this! The pen packaging was really convenient, and the oil really helped to hydrate my cuticles. I have a few other cuticles oils to go through first, but I would repurchase this in the future.

NARS Albatross (reviewed here) - I'm sad to see this one go! Albatross is a gorgeous golden highlighter, and I used it almost every single day for two years. I'm wanting to repurchase, but I have other highlighters that I need to put a dent in first.

REN Resurfacing AHA Concentrate (reviewed here) - This product used to receive a lot of hype in the beauty world, and I decided to give it a go. I found that this product helped to brighten my skin, but the results only lasted a few hours. I wouldn't recommend this product, as it is quite pricey.

Tarte LipSurgence Skintuitive Lip Tint in Energy (reviewed here) - This is one of those lip products that adjusts to give you the best possible shade. I really loved this formula from Tarte - it's creamy, hydrating, and glossy!

Maybelline Color Whisper in Petal Rebel* (reviewed here) - This pale pink shade was super pretty! I really like this formula from Maybelline and I would repurchase!

Maybelline Color Whisper in Pin Up Peach* (reviewed here) - Another pretty shade & same great formula!

Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch (reviewed here) - Another pale pink shade, and I really love the baby lips formula! This one had a really nice scent too :)

Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins (reviewed here) - I absolutely loved this night time moisturizer! The orange scent was amazing, and the formula was really thick and hydrating. Highly recommend.

Sephora Instant Moisturizer Sample - I took this on my trip to Montreal and used it up over the weekend. This formula is very thick and hydrating, and it would be a great Winter staple!

OPI Top Coat - I've been using this for years (not this sample bottle), and really like how shiny this leaves my nails. The bottle does start to get thick about half way through though.

OPI Nail Envy Maintenance* - I used to use the original formula, but then I switched to this one. I really, really love the Nail Envy line, it helped transform my nails from being brittle & breaking all the time to healthy, longer nails!

Institut Esthederm Cellular Concentrate* (reviewed here) - I used this morning and night as a serum before my moisturizer, and absolutely loved it! I really love Esthederm's skincare, and I would highly recommend checking out the brand.

Phyto Phytobaume Hydration Express Conditioner sample - This was really nice, but I probably wouldn't purchase the full size just due to price.

Alberto V05 Hot Oil Strengthening Treatment - This pack comes with three vials of oil that you heat up and apply to damp hair before shampooing. I've been using these for years & years, and I really like them!

Agadir Moisture Masque* - I really loved this! This was a very thick conditioner/mask that help to hydrate my hair, calm frizz, and detangle. Definitely recommend.

Lush Christmas Eve Bubble Bar* (reviewed here) - This was from Lush's Christmas range, but I recently used it up on a trip to Montreal (yay for hotel bathtubs!). Jasmine and ylang ylang made this such a relaxing scent :)

Lush Candy Mountain Bubble Bar* (reviewed here) - Another one from Lush's Christmas range! This scent was on the sweeter side, but it wasn't as overpowering as I expected it to be!

Lush Rose Jam Bubbleroon* (reviewed here) - I absolutely love Lush's Rose Jam scent, and this bubble bar was really nice & hydrating. Highly recommend!

Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa Face Masque* (reviewed here) - I really love these sheet masks from MJ, they're so fun! If you haven't tried them before, you should give one a chance :)

Bath & Body Works Fresh Picked Tangerines Foaming Hand Soap - These soaps are great, but BBW recently reformulated all of their hand soaps, and I haven't been able to try them out yet!

Lush Sea Vegetable Soap* (reviewed here) - To me, this soap smells a lot like Lush's Seanik or Rub, Rub, Rub. It's a very fresh, refreshing scent that I really enjoyed.

Ok, we're all done! Another month down, another box full of empties! I can already tell that March is going to have a ton of makeup empties, as my foundation, concealer, powder, mascara, & eyeliner are all about to kick the bucket. I would love to know what products you've used up recently, or any products that you've hit pan on. :)
