GOSH Giant Sun Powder

Today I have a review to share with you of a product that's been in my collection for a few years. GOSH's Giant Sun Powder ($25/30g) caught my eye in Shopper's one day, and I just couldn't get it out of my head. The next day I went back to the store and picked up this huge bronzer, and never looked back. This 30 gram bronzer will last me years and years, which I'm elated about since it's such a beautiful product.

GOSH Giant Sun Powder
Excuse the grubby packaging, this product has been in my collection for a while!

GOSH Giant Sun Powder

"Choose to use Giant Sun Powder over the entire face or just give the cheeks a lovely, sun-kissed
tinge. Accentuate those places where the sun would normally give a beautiful summer glow, GOSH Giant Sun Powder can also be used on the forehead, chin, chest, shoulders and bridge of the nose. GOSH Giant Sun Power is very long-lasting and its ingredients include mica, a light-reflecting mineral substance that gives the skin a special depth and sheen. Since the product is made of minerals and is completely free of oils, waxes or perfumes and other undesirable ingredients, this product is particularly suitable if you like to take care of the skin and prefer natural products. GOSH Giant Sun Powder is incredibly easy to apply and
gives the skin a natural, golden colour and a fantastic and beautiful glow." - GOSH

GOSH Giant Sun Powder

GOSH's Giant Sun Powder comes packaged in NARS-esque black matte packaging that opens up to reveal a large mirror and the 30 gram pan of bronzer. This bronzer is fairly shimmery, and I wouldn't recommend it for contouring. However, I love to use a light dusting of this bronzer all over my face for a nice healthy glow. This powder is so creamy and easy to blend, and the colour is light enough so it works well with my pale complexion. I also appreciate that this bronzer doesn't make me look orange at all. This is what I was hoping The Balm's Betty-Lou Manizer would have been!

GOSH Giant Sun Powder

I apply GOSH's Giant Sun Powder with a fluffy brush all over my face, down my neck, and sometimes onto my chest/collarbone. This powder may look very shimmery in the swatch, but once it's on my face it just makes my skin look glowy. This powder stays put all day long without oxidizing or fading.

GOSH Giant Sun Powder Swatch

If you have a fair complexion, I highly recommend checking out GOSH's Giant Sun Powder. I don't know that this would work on darker skin tones, and I believe that it only comes in the one shade. If you've been eyeing this, definitely give it a shot! Have you tried this bronzer before? What's your current go-to bronzer?

  1. GOSH products live in a grey area for me, very similar to QUO...I'm never quite sure if they are worth the higher-end drugstore price. Unfortunately, this is just too gold/bronze/shimmer for me -- well outside of my comfort zone, albeit quite pretty! I like that it didn't make you look super orange, which is always a concern for me...but it still looks far too warm for my taste.

    1. I have to say that I prefer GOSH over Quo... Which bronzers are you loving? I personally love more golden tones on my skin tone :)

    1. I used to be obsessed with GOSH's pressed powder, went through 5 or 6 compacts before venturing out to different brands!

  4. 30g? Wow I wouldn't be able to finish that even if I applied it all over my body every single day lol

  5. This would work fantastic on women with darker skin as a highlight powder, the sheen is perfect.

    2. That's the best advise I've ever seen, lol.
This looks a bit too gold for me, but I love big products, even though I'll never finish them.

    3. LOL well it's kind of true, isn't it?
I know, there's something about over-sized products that I love, even though they can be bulky and impossible to finish up!

  7. Same thing happened to me. I seen in the store and I tired it on my hand. I liked it but didn't purchase it. When I went home it was all I could think about so I went back and bought it with a Quo brush. I LOVE IT! Its totally worth the $25. It gives the face a beautiful sun kissed look. It is definitely going to be apart of my daily make-up routine.
