Incoco Nail Polish Appliqués - Daydreams

Incoco has recently launched their Garden Daydreams Collection for Spring 2014, and today I have their Nail Strips in Daydreams* ($8.99 from Incoco.com) to share with you! I'm no stranger to nail polish strips, but this was my first experience with the Incoco brand. Read on to see how I liked these real nail polish strips!

"Garden Daydreams by Incoco is a new collection of lush floral prints, sweet blooms, and soft pastel shades to celebrate the long-awaited first signs of spring. Thirteen new designs and colors bring fresh spring looks to your fingertips, and are perfect for sunny days and sandal weather.

Delicately layered colors, watercolor washes, and airy blooms breathe new life into floral favorites. Nail design standouts in the collection include Tea Party, with blooming roses over sweet polka dots, and Garden Path, with lovely, delicate wildflowers. For those who crave soft color for the season, the collection features four new pastel shades inspired by blossoms, buds, and blue skies." - Incoco

Incoco's Nail Strips come with 16 real nail polish strips in a variety of sizes. To use, simply remove the plastic cover and backing, and line up the strip to fit your nails. I did find that these strips ran a bit large, and it was hard to find a size that was perfect for my pinkie nails. For my other nails, I found that the strips went over my nails, and onto my skin (look at my middle finger in the picture below). You can use the included stick to help remove any excess product, but I found that this could lead to removing too much of the sticker. Sizing issues aside, I was happy with the easy application process - all ten nails were done within 5 minutes! Seeing as these are nail stickers, there is absolutely no drying time, which is a huge bonus in my books. I didn't have any issues with these stickers creasing or bubbling.

"Pink and lilac brushstrokes make a pretty, abstract floral look in Daydreams."

The Daydreams design is really pretty and perfect for Spring. I love the lilac and pink design on a chrome-pearl background. Incoco says that these nail sticks last up to 14 days, which I think is quite impressive! I don't think I'll leave these on for that long, as I do love changing up my nails frequently. If you're busy or just don't have the desire to change your polish every other day, these are such a great option!

I really love the Daydreams design - it's girly, pretty, and perfect for Spring. I like the formula of these strips, but they aren't perfect, in my opinion. Perhaps with more practice I'll get better at applying them! If you have very small fingers & nails, these might not be the best option for you. Have you tried Incoco's nail strips before, or any other brand of nail strips? Do you prefer them over traditional polish?

  1. It can be kind of a hassle sometimes but when the strips look too large for my nails, I trim them with scissors first before applying them so I don't have to use that pesky orange stick to remove them.

    1. That's a good tip! Although I would have liked them to fit without needing to cut them.

  4. I don't usually wax but I do shave, hair removal can be such a hassle! I like the design on those nails, I have a hard time finding designs I like, sometimes I just want something plain!

    1. I like that waxing lasts so much longer than shaving!
Incoco also makes solid colour nail stickers! :)

  5. I had some overlap with mine as well (probably not as much as yours) and I used my fingernail to "cut" them around the edge since mine didn't come with a file/orange stick. However I found the application so easy and the designs are so pretty, I'm really happy with them so far!

    1. I tried doing that with my nails too, but I found that it took off too much product and left a bit of my nail bare! I'm sure I'll get better at it the next time I try them :)

  6. I have fairly long nails and nail beds, so these look appealing to me...although I'm not really digging the designs I've seen thus far. I'll need to check 'em out further to see if there are any patterns better suited to my taste!
