Revlon Cream Blush - Pinched

Revlon recently released a new cream blush formula, which I couldn't be happier about it! I think that the drugstore is missing great cream blushes, and Revlon is here to save the day! I've been playing around with Revlon's Cream Blush in Pinched* (11.95 CAD/12.4g) and I've really been impressed.

Available in 4 creamy shades." - Revlon

Revlon Cream Blush in Pinched

Pinched is a pretty light orange shade that just screams Spring and Summer! This blush comes packaged in a simple black plastic pot. I think the packaging could have been more enticing, as I find it a bit boring as it is. However, the packaging inside is amazing, so I'll forget about the blah packaging!

As with all of my cream blushes, I like to use my Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply. This formula is so smooth and creamy, and it blends into my skin effortlessly. This cream almost melts into my skin, and it doesn't accentuate my pores at all. This cream formula doesn't move around my foundation, which I've found some cream blushes to do.

Pinched provides a subtle amount of colour to my cheeks, but it is a bit buildable. If you're looking for a bright, intense blush, this one isn't for you. I love wearing Pinched when I'm wearing a smoky eye or a bold lip, as this blush is fairly neutral. If you want something brighter, check out Megan Joy's review of Flushed. Even though this is a cream formula, this blush has fairly good lasting power. On my cheeks, this blush lasts for 7 hours before starting to fade. If you topped this off with a powder blush, you'd be looking at all day wear! Can I also mention how much product you get in this little tub? I recently reviewed MAKE UP FOR EVER'S new HD Blush, and that only contains only 2.8g (for 3x the price)!

I've really been loving Revlon's new Cream Blush formula! I think that this formula is just as good, if not better than a lot of the higher end options on the market. There are four shades in this range, and I'm really wanting to try out Charmed. Have you tried out this new cream blush yet? :)

  6. I find the formula for this product to be very easy to use -- it's a great beginner's cream because of the slip, blendability (which is apparently not a word) and because you can build up the colour so easily. I love how it looks so natural and glowy!
