TRESemmé Renewal Hair & Scalp System

TRESemmé always interests me with their commercials, and promises of salon quality hair care at drug store prices. I've been a long-time fan of the line, and lately I've been trying out their new Renewal Hair & Scalp System*. This system consists of a shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioning mask ($5.99 each). Read on to see how I'm liking this new range!

"TRESemmé launches its first hair care range, Renewal Hair & Scalp System to help repair hair damage and deeply nourish the scalp with moisture.

The new TRESemmé Renewal Hair & Scalp System helps repair damage from hair colouring, pollutants and stresses to deeply nourish the scalp with moisture and hair with nutrients.

With a salon-quality formula that includes Tea Tree Extract and Sunflower Seed Oil, the TRESemmé Renewal Hair & Scalp System helps repair hair and nourish the scalp at the cellular level*. The result: a healthy looking foundation and softer, more manageable hair.

The TRESemmé Renewal Hair & Scalp System features three products for salon-gorgeous hair: shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioning mask.

TRESemmé's Renewal Hair & Scalp Shampoo and Conditioner come in large 700ml bottles, which will last you ages. I really love the scent of these products; it's a nice, light classic salon scent that I think a lot of people will like. My boyfriend has also been using this line, and he commented on how much he liked the scent - so this line isn't just for girls! This shampoo is fairly thick, and it lathers up really nicely. I massage the shampoo into my scalp for about 30 seconds, and then rinse. I'll then apply the conditioner, which also has a nice thick consistency. I'll leave the conditioner on for the remainder of my shower - about 5 minutes. However, you can leave this conditioner on for as short or as long as you want. Using these two products alone, I've found that my hair feels smoother, softer, and my frizz is diminished. I can go two days without washing my hair, but I do have to use dry shampoo on day 2.

TRESemmé's Renewal Hair & Scalp Deep Conditioning Mask comes in a smaller 177ml tube, and has that same great salon scent. Honestly, I didn't notice much of a difference between this mask, and the conditioner from this line. This mask is great, but the conditioner is too - and you get almost 4x the product in the conditioner, for the same price. Both the conditioner and the mask are thick in consistency, hydrate my hair without weighing it down, and reduce frizz. I have applied the mask lightly to my scalp, and it doesn't make my hair greasy at all.

Overall, I couldn't recommend this new line enough! I do think that you can skip the masque, but if you see it on sale then it's always fun to try out new masques. The shampoo & conditioner are must-tries, and you really can't beat the price for these giant bottles! I love that my boyfriend and I can share hair products, as that cuts down on the amount of products on our shower floor. Have you tried out this new range from TRESemmé? Are you as impressed as I am? :)
