AERIN Kaleidolight Palette

I have a weakness for palettes, and AERIN's Kaleidolight Palette* ($70) has me feeling giddy! This palette contains 5 powders than can be used on the eyes and cheeks, making it a fantastic multi-use product. Plus, AERIN knows how to make beautiful packaging.

"Easy and versatile, this pretty palette of five skin-loving, light-enhancing shades of bronze, beige, pink and lavender add subtle glow in one sweep to eyes and cheeks." - AERIN

AERIN's Kaleidolight Palette is simply stunning. The gold packaging looks beautiful on my vanity, and I think that this palette looks like a piece of art. This also comes with a pink pouch, which always makes me feel so fancy! There palette is divided into 6 sections, but there are only 5 colours (the lighter beige shade is repeated twice). The formula of these powders is incredible - smooth, creamy, and long wearing. These might just be the creamiest powders I've ever used! Like buttah! I love that all of the shades are versatile and can easily be worn on either the eyes or cheeks. I've been mixing the pink and lilac shade together as a blush. I do wish that the lilac shade was a bit bigger, as it can be hard to get a blush brush in the small pan. The lilac shade isn't super pigmented, so I do find that it works better as a blush, as opposed to an eye shadow.

When worn on my eyes, these shadows last all day long. By the end of a 10 or 12 hour day, my eye shadow is still looking fresh! When worn as a blush, I can get 9 hours of wear out of these powders before they start to fade. Definitely impressed! The only thing that this palette is missing is a highlight shade. The beige shade is the closest thing to a highlight, but it's still a bit too pigmented.

I'm really impressed with AERIN's Kaleidolight Palette. I really don't think anyone would be disappointed with the quality of these powders, they're just beautiful. This is a limited edition product, so pick it up ASAP if you're interested! :)

  1. Despite the lilac not being super pigmented, I love it! Such a gorgeous shade. Also, multi-use is always a win. I find it so strange that they put two of the same in, though. Maybe it was an error and when they realized, it was too late so they kind of had to just go with it...

    1. I know, I wish they made the lilac shade bigger instead of having a double of the beige shade! I guess you can save one of the pans for blush and use one as eye shadow? I dunno...
