Arbonne It's a Long Story Mascara

I'm the kind of girl that links to only have one mascara open at a time. I know most girls absolutely love trying out new mascaras, and will have 4 or 5 mascaras open at any given time. I prefer to just use one mascara for three months straight, toss it, and open up another. However, I have a few mascaras that I'm wanting to review right now, so I have a few open. The first of many that I have to share with you is Arbonne It's a Long Story Mascara* ($40/12 g). This was my first experience with Arbonne's cosmetics, and I was excited to give this mascara a try!

"Your eyes tell an epic tale. Now you can tell the whole glamorous story with our high-performance lengthening mascara that creates the look of ultra-dramatic lashes with major longitude. The professional brush, with its flexible, uniform bristle design, glides on to create beyond-beautiful lash-by-lash definition, so just one wink will be worth a thousand words. Good thing — yours is a neverending story." - Arbonne

Arbonne It's a Long Story Mascara

Arbonne's It's a Long Story Mascara comes in a beautiful long and sleek black tube with silver writing. The cap twists off to reveal a plastic brush with short bristles. I normally love mascaras with huge wands (think CoverGirl's Lash Blast), but I was willing to step out of my comfort zone. My lashes have a decent curl and length to them, so I mostly turn to a mascara for added volume.

This mascara is easy to apply, and it doesn't clump up even with two coats. I like the amount of length that this gives to my lashes, and it holds my natural curl throughout the day. This formula doesn't give my lashes amazing volume, but it's good for daily wear. The brush is easy to use and control, and the wand is quite flexible. This formula stays on my lashes all day long - it doesn't flake or smudge at all. At the end of the night, it easily removes with some Bioderma.

I'm really enjoying Arbonne's It's a Long Story Mascara for daily wear. I don't think that I'd reach for this on a night out, since it doesn't give me a ton of volume. But it's great for daily life! Have you tried any cosmetics from Arbonne before? I would love to know what you've tried, and what you would recommend :) What mascara are you currently using?

  3. I have a problem with too many mascaras, too. I recently binned a handful, but now I have two open and it makes me feel a bit antsy...

  4. I usually have 2 open at a time and replace them every 3 months. Have you tried Wet n Wild Mega Impact for volume? I find it does a great job.
