Clinique Cheek Pop - Berry Pop

Clinique's Cheek Pops have taken over the beauty world lately, they're just SO CUTE! I'm a huge blush addict, so I was super excited to try out this new formula. Today I'll be sharing the shade Berry Pop* ($21 USD/$24 CAD/3.5 g) with you, which is actually more of a pink shade.

Clinique Cheek Pop - Berry Pop

"Vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless. In a silky smooth, stay-true formula with shades for every skin tone. That just-pinched look, simply effortless." - Clinique

Clinique's Cheek Pops might just be the cutest blushes I've ever seen! The cute floral design just totally excites the girly girl in me. I was afraid that the design would be ruined after the first use, but it has been sticking around after several uses. This formula is quite hard, and I am used to a softer, creamier blushes formula, like NARS'. However, this blush still has good pigmentation, and it wears all day long on my cheeks without fading.

This is a very buildable blush - you can apply a very sheer wash of colour, or it can be built up for a stronger cheek. This formula is very hard, which I wasn't expected - they almost feel like a baked product. Berry Pop is a slightly misleading name, as this shade is quite pink. I absolutely love pink blushes, they're definitely one of my weaknesses. This shade doesn't have any shimmer or glitter, but it does bring a nice glow to my cheeks. This colour applies really nicely, and the product almost melts into my skin, it doesn't sit on top of my cheeks. So you're left with a very natural blush look! Berry Pop stays looking vibrant for 12 hours on my cheeks, which definitely makes it a winner! As with all of Cliniques products, their Cheek Pops are fragrance free.

I do think that a big selling point for this blush is that adorable packaging - but the product inside is good too. This isn't the best blush formula that I've ever tried, but the colour is beautiful and very long-wearing. I hope that Clinique brings out more shades in this range, because there's only four available right now. Have you tried any of Clinique's new Cheek Pops? I also have the shade Peach Pop, so keep an eye out for that review! :)

  3. I bought this in peach pop and I find it REALLY hard to blend, which sucks because its such a pretty shade and does last for a long time, maybe I need to try another colour and see if that blends any better.

    1. Oh no! I have Peach Pop too and I haven't had any issues with it. What brush are you using with it?

    2. I only have a Quo brush right now, I've been waiting very impatiently for my Walmart to restock the Real Technique brushes so I can try those out

    3. I find that a dense blush brush works really well with this almost baked formula. The RT Stippling brush would work well! :)

  4. That embossed flower is just too cute, I wouldn't want to use it! :-)

    1. I know, right!!? Thankfully the design doesn't go anywhere right away, you're going to have to use the blush a lot before the design fades!

  7. I got the same one and love it! You're right though, if the design was basic I wouldn't love it AS much.

  9. I was very tempted to buy one of these in duty free but resisted and then on the return journey I'd already brought so many blushes I couldn't justify which is a shame as they're so pretty.

  10. Definitely agreed, it's not the best formula I've tried, which makes it meh for me aside from the fricken adorable packaging. I wasn't too keen on the berry + Plum shades, but after seeing this swatched out..Berry is quite pretty in swatches and on you! Also, IIRC, it's a baked blush!
