Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner

One of my biggest skin concerns is large pores, so I was really happy to try out Dr. Brandt's Pores No More Pore Refiner* ($55 CAD/30 ml). This product is intended for those with combo/oily skin, but it can really be used by anyone with large pores.

"Dr. Brandt's quick fix for flawless, photo-ready skin fits seamlessly into any individual's regimen – skincare or makeup – because of its incredible ability to instantly hide the appearance of pores and mattify shine. This silky, smooth formula glides onto clean skin or on top of makeup leaving an un-tinted, powder finish. Tea tree and flaxseed extract provide continuous pore refining benefits, while micro-spheres diffuse light and have a high oil absorption capacity so skin looks and feels smoother, more uniform and shine-free.
  • Hides & refines pores
  • Instantly mattifies shine
  • Absorbs excess oil & helps regulate oil production
  • Smoothes & evens skin's appearance" - London Drugs

Dr. Brandt's Pores No More Pore Refiner comes in a simple silver plastic tube with a pump applicator. I do find this pump a bit annoying - something nothing pumps out at all! But generally, I use a pump of this product, which is beige in colour but turns invisible once applied. I just use this on areas where I have large pores - my nose and cheeks. If you have oily skin, you might like using this all over your face as a primer. I've included pictures of a before & after below - there's definitely a difference! I love how this fills my pores and makes them appear visibly smaller. No, my pores aren't invisible, but it's definitely an improvement. This formula also keeps my looking matte all day long. If you have oily skin and need to touch up throughout the day, this can even be patted on over makeup.

I'm really, really impressed with this formula! If you also have large, unwanted pores, I highly recommend checking this out. Have you tried this product, or any other pore fillers? What are your pore minimizing secrets?

    1. I know, right?! When I went to look at my pictures I was shocked!

  2. Very interesting! What are the ingredients in this product that you think help with this effect? I'm a little worried that there might be a lot of silicones in it, which could clog pores.

    1. You can see all of the ingredients here!:
