Lancôme's Gloss in Love line has been calling my name for a while, and recently I've been trying out shade #146 Peach Snow* ($29 CAD/6 mL). I don't have a ton of peach shades in my lip collection, so I'm really happy to have this new gloss in my life! I think that Lancôme named this product really well - you definitely will fall in love with this gloss!
"The first Lancôme Gloss that truly loves your lips: unprecedented shine wraps lips with color and addictive comfort. Available in 12 fresh new shades, this gloss combines color with 6 hours of moisture in an easy click-to-open package. The NEW Expert Applicator hugs lips, resulting in a smooth and line-free vinyl lip look. Available in 12 fresh new colors these easy to wear glosses can be worn by themselves or combined with our shimmer top coat, 200 Just Strass, for added sparkle and shine." - Lancôme
Lancôme's Gloss in Love comes in really neat packaging - you push the button, and the lid pops out. To close, just put the applicator back into the gloss, and you can hear it snap back in place. I don't know why this excites me so much! The applicator itself is a curved doe foot, which hugs your lips. This may seem a bit gimmicky, but it really does make applicator super easy. You can use the end of the applicator for a more precise applicator around the lines of your lips.
Shade #146 Peach Snow is a beautiful light peach with golden shimmer. This shade is on the sheer side, but I don't mind. There is quite a bit of shimmer in this formula, but it doesn't feel gritty at all. In fact, this lip gloss almost feels like lip balm! It is so comfortable to wear - it's not too thick or sticky. If you hate the feeling of traditional glosses, I think you need to give this formula a try. This gloss wears for about 4 hours before I need to reapply. It will transfer when eating or drinking, but only a bit. I think that this peachy shade is perfect for Spring, and I love that it can be worn alone or over lipstick. This gloss pairs beautifully with a smoky eye, or a neutral eye and coral cheek.
I think that this new formula from Lancôme is a definite winner! There are many beautiful shades in this range, and I'm wanting to try out #144, #391, and #341. Have you tried out the Gloss in Love formula? Do you love it as much as I do? :)
I really want to try this! This shade is really pretty and the formula sounds divine.
