If there was one beauty item that I absolutely could not live without, it would be lip balm. I always have at least one on me at all times, I never want to be without it. Since I use so much lip balm, I'm always interested in trying out new formulas, and lately I've been trying Lypsyl's Cherry Lip Balm*.
I think that this was my first time using a Lypsyl product! The packaging is quite simple, which I can appreciate. I have the Cherry scent, which was normally a scent that I would stay away from, but I think that my scent preferences are changing! As a child, my mom always used to buy the cherry flavoured medicine, which is why I think that I always hated anything cherry scented. So I was really surprised to find that I now enjoy this cherry scent. The cherry scent doesn't linger once applied. Anyways, this is a clear lip balm that doesn't add a glossy finish to your lips, making it a great unisex product.
My lips have been in fairly good condition lately, so I've just been needing a balm to keep my lips that way. My fellow Canadians will be able to sympathize with me, and will know that Canadian winters wreak havoc on your lips. A little TLC is always essential, and I think that this lip balm gets the job done. The formula is thick and hydrating, but it doesn't feel heavy on my lips. This formula lasts fairly well throughout light eating and drinking, which makes me very happy. I'm a chronic reapplier when it comes to lip balm, but I don't find myself needing to reapply this formula as often.
I think that this lip balm is a real winner! I love that you can find this at the drugstore - easy accessibility is key! Have you tried any of Lypsyl's lip balms? If you're looking for a good, inexpensive lip balm, I definitely think that you would enjoy this one. What lip balm are you loving at the moment? :)

That's so true - sometimes the most basic products are the most effective!
DeleteJust proof that sometimes the most basic things can be the best. ;)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely!! :)
DeleteI buy these in bunches from Dollarama for my 11 year old son who insists on chewing his upper lip causing it to be red and raw. Next time, I'll have to grab one for myself! Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely try them out for yourself, I think you'll really like them! :)
DeleteIn my family we refer to lipbalm as lipsyl... I think it's a French thing, lol!
ReplyDeleteI think I've used this brand ages ago, then I was hooked on Lip Smacker but thankfully kicked that habit, and now I'm more into natural ones that don't dry out your lips.
haha, really!? Oh man, I used to use lip smacker all the time as a kid/pre-teen!
DeleteI seem to have a few lip balms about the main outside door but I keep on forgetting to use them as I go out
ReplyDeleteOh you must remember to use them!! :)
