Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick - Pink Fever

I've kind of been obsessed with anything pink lately, at my latest obsession has been Maybelline's Master Glaze Blush Stick in Pink Fever* ($11.99 CAD/6.8g). I've reviewed the shades Warm Nude and Coral Sheen before, but I have to say that Pink Fever is my favourite of the three!

Maybelline's Master Glaze Blush Sticks come packaged in small colour-coordinated plastic tubes that twist up to reveal the blush. It doesn't look like you get a ton of product in this little stick, but 6.8 grams will last you quite a while. This formula is so creamy and pigmented, it feels like a high end product! I've been swiping this blush onto my cheeks right from the tube, and then I'll blend out the colour with Real Techniques' Stippling Brush. Pink Fever is a vibrant pink with blue undertones and no shimmer at all. This formula wears for about 8 hours on my cheeks before it starts to fade, which I'm really impressed with. If you have oily skin, then you might want to layer this with a powder blush (Bobbi Brown's Pale Pink is a good match). This blush melts into my skin and looks quite natural - that's what I love about cream blushes.

If you're looking for a good drugstore blush, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. Of the three shades that I've tried in this formula, Pink Fever is definitely my favourite! Have you tried any of Maybelline's Master Glaze Blush Sticks? Which shades are your favourites? :)

  2. Oh I really like that it has no shimmer, I can't stand shimmer in cream blushes :S

    1. Cream blushes without shimmer tend to be so much creamier and easier to apply!

  3. Oh that color is lovely! I've been eyeing both this color and the orange-y color as well! Great review, as usual!

  4. I would you say this compared with the MUFE HD Blush?

    1. I actually found this formula a lot creamier and more long wearing! But, I've also tried 2 other shades in this formula from Maybelline, and each has a slightly different texture/wear time. I've only tried one of the MUFE shades.

  5. This looks super pretty on you! Very natural and springy. Do you think since it's a blue-pink that it would work well for those with yellower undertones like myself?

    1. Thank you! I have slightly yellow undertones and I think it works well on me. You can really sheer out this shade or make it more pigmented, so I think that it would work :)

  7. We don't have these in the UK so I was eyeing these up in the drugstore yesterday. I think I need to pick a couple up to try.
