Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm - Shameless

Back in January I shared Revlon's ColorBurst Matte Balm in Showy, and today I'm back with Shameless* ($9.95 CAD). Revlon recently released new matte and lacquer balms, and I've been loving both formulas. Shameless is a vampy deep purple that still has some vibrancy to it.

Revlon's ColorBurst Matte Balms come packaged in colour-coordinating tubes, which makes finding the right colour in your purse super easy! The product easily twists up and down, and the product comes with a slightly pointed tip. This formula has a very slight minty scent to it, which I find a lot less noticeable than the mintiness of Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains.

Shameless is a beautiful deep purple that is both vampy and bright. I did find that this shade clings to any dry patches that I have, so you'll want to exfoliate your lips well. This matte formula is very creamy and hydrating, and it's probably the most comfortable matte formula that I've tried. I find that this lip stick moisturizes my lips for about 3 hours before I have to apply a balm, which is fairly typical for my lips. Even when the balm wears off, my lips aren't left feeling dry and thirsty. The colour itself lasts for a lot longer - about 6 hours. This product lightly stains my lips, and the colour does last throughout light eating and drinking.

I really wish that Shameless didn't settle into my fine lines & dry patches, but I guess that's to be expected with a dark matte shade like this. I still really love this formula from Revlon - it's super creamy and comfortable to wear. Have you tried any of Revlon's new ColorBurst Matte Balms? Which shades do you recommend?
