Soap & Glory Heel Genius

Soap & Glory Heel Genius

We're heading into sandal season, which means that now is the time to get your feet in shape! Soap & Glory have recently brought Heel Genius* ($17 CAD/4.2 oz.) over to Canada, and I've been giving it a go. I love a good foot cream - but I know that a lot of people hate talking about feet! The reality is, you need to take care of your feet in order for them to look good, it's not just going to magically happen on its' own. I use a foot cream every single night, and I highly recommend that you do the same!

Soap & Glory's Heel Genius comes in very similar packaging to their cult favourite Hand Food - a simple plastic pink tube. I love Soap & Glory's packaging, it's girly, fun, and slightly retro. Heel Genius is a pale blue gel-cream formula and is made with macadamia oil, bilberry, orange and lemon fruit acid smoothers, glycerin and menthol. I find that the scent of this is very faint, and you really have to stick your nose right to the bottle to be able to smell anything. This is a nice change from the typical heavy minty scent that a lot of foot creams have. This formula doesn't look incredibly thick, but it is very moisturizing. I slather this on all over my feet right before bed, and let it hydrate my feet over night. You can also keep more of the moisture in by putting on cotton socks after application, but I can't stand sleeping with socks on! I have noticed that my feet feel softer, and this cream provides almost 24 hours of hydration. If you have very dry skin, this may not be enough moisture for you, but it has been working perfectly for me!

If you don't already have a foot cream in your daily beauty routine, now is the time to start! This is another great product from Soap & Glory (they never disappoint, do they?), and I'm glad to have it in my beauty arsenal. Have you tried Soap & Glory's Heel Genius yet? What other products do you wish S&G would bring over to Canada? In Canada, you can find Soap & Glory at Shoppers and Murale.ca

  4. I am looking forward to trying this! I usually just use whatever body butter I use on my feet so it's nice to have a special product for the feet.

    1. I find body butters way too heavy to use as foot creams! I think you'll like this one :)

  6. Ooo I would love to try this! It's a little pricey, but I have perenially dry heels and toes so this would be a saviour. Have you tried BBW foot cream? That's what I'm using now and it's also pretty good, but has a bit of that minty/menthol smell.
