St. Ives Naturally Soothing Oatmeal & Shea Butter Fresh Hydration Lotion

I love constantly moisturizing my body, but sometimes I do get lazy and want something a bit easier and quicker than a thick body butter. St. Ives has recently released a new line of spray moisturizers, and I've been trying out their Naturally Soothing Oatmeal & Shea Butter Fresh Hydration Lotion* ($5.99-$7.99/ 184g).

St. Ives' Naturally Soothing Oatmeal & Shea Butter Fresh Hydration Lotion comes in a super convenient spray bottle, just like the ones that some sunscreens come in. This bottle does feature a continuous spray, which makes application even easier! The bottle sprays using compressed air only, it's not aerosol. This formula is meant for anyone with dry skin. I'll admit, I was skeptical of how well a spray moisturizer would work on dry skin. This formula is fairly thin and liquidy, which normally means that it isn't super hydrating. However, I was pleasantly surprised! This moisturizer is very hydrating, and it keeps my skin feeling moisturized for almost a full day. Simply spray all over your body, and rub in. This formula sinks in within seconds, and you can get dressed right after. This scent is quite light, but I do really like it - it's a mix of shea, coconut, and soft florals.

I definitely think that this product is a winner! If you often forgo body lotion out of laziness (we all do it), then this might be the perfect product for you. I think that this is a great year-round moisturizer, since it's hydrating but light on the skin. Have you tried any of the new spray moisturizers on the market? Which formula has been your favourite?

  1. Oh this sounds interesting, especially as I've been using and enjoying the Vaseline spray lotion. I've just received the St Ives body scrub and I imagine it would work perfectly alongside this.

  4. I have a spray lotion that I've tried once. It felt so runny and thin, I haven't tried it again. I'm much more of a fan of thick body butters.
