Stila Convertible Color - Camellia

I fell in love with Stila's Convertible Colors last year, and I'm happy to have a new shade added to my collection! Camellia* ($33 CAD/ 4.25g) is a beautiful nude blush that pairs wonderfully with any lip or eye look. This cream formula can be worn on both the lips and cheeks - and yes, it does work well for both uses! I also love the colour-coded packaging, it makes it so easy to find the right shade in the morning, especially if you own multiple shades like I do.

"Stila's ingenious lipstick and blush-in-one proves irresistible. Non-greasy, this creamy, sheer tint adds an natural glow to the cheeks while lips bloom with fresh, radiant color. A mini mirrored-compact makes touch ups on the go a snap." - Sephora

I've been using Real Techniques' Stippling Brush to apply Camellia, which is a duo made in heaven! You can use your fingers to apply this blush, but I find that a brush gives a more flawless finish. Stila's Convertible Color is really creamy, pigmented, and easy to blend out. Camellia is a beautiful natural blush shade that I think would work best on light to medium skin tones. This shade might not show up too well on darker skin tones, but I haven't been able to test this out. I love pairing Camellia with a smoky eye or bold lip, as this blush doesn't compete with everything else going on. This formula wears for about 8-9 hours before starting to fade, and even longer when set with a powder blush. Definitely a winner in my books! When worn as a lipstick, this formula is very comfortable, creamy, and it lasts for about 3 hours before I need to reapply.

  1. This is the first time I've come across a product that you can use as more than one piece of make-up. I think I like it best as a blush, it makes you looks very sunkissed! X

  10. I love the deep rosy color that this has on you! How do you like it compared to the MUFE 515? They seem kinda similar in a red-orangey way to me.

    1. This shade is definitely more neutral toned & natural looking. MUFE's 515 is a true orange & quite bright. Stila's formula wears longer on my cheeks too! :)
