Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm - Plushest Punch

I recently reviewed Clinique's Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Heftiest Hibiscus, and today I'm back with the shade Plushest Punch* ($19 CAD/0.1 oz)! Clinique was the brand that started the "lip crayon" craze, and now I'm totally hooked!

"Soften lips with a cushion of color that’s not quite sheer, not quite opaque—but something perfectly in between. This moisturizing balm is loaded with mango and shea butters to make dry, delicate lips feel comfortably soft and smooth." - Sephora

Clinique's Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm is a new take on their classic Chubby Stick formula. These lip crayons are more hydrating and pigmented. Plushest Punch is a beautiful mid-toned pink/magenta. This shade has good pigmentation, although it is a little bit less pigmented compared to Heftiest Hibiscus. I love that this packaging is colour coded - it makes finding the right shade super simple. I also love that this is twist up packaging - no sharpener needed here! The tip is a good size, and I find that it's small enough to outline my lips and get an exact application.

Plushest Punch applies evenly, with a very smooth texture. I wouldn't say that the formula of this shade is overly creamy, but while wearing it my lips didn't feel dry or parched. This colour lasts on my lips for about 6 hours, and then starts to fade evenly. Plushest Punch is a beautiful magenta-raspberry shade. I absolutely love pink lipsticks, and this one is no exception! This shade gives a nice sheen to my lips, but there isn't any shimmer/glitter in the formula.

I definitely think that Clinique's Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms are worth checking out, I'm really enjoying both shades that I own! I'm also eyeing the shades Roomiest Rose and Grandest Grape. Have you tried this formula from Clinique, or their original Chubby Stick formula?

    1. I didn't realize this either! But they have two lines, one more pigmented and one more sheer :)
