Caudalie Moisturizing Toner

I absolutely love trying out new toners, and I love the brand Caudalie, which meant that I was destined to love Caudalie's Moisturizing Toner* ($28 CAD/6.7 oz - 3.38oz size pictured below)! I prefer toners that are gentle, calming, hydrating, and clarifying. Read on to see if this toner met my expectations!

Caudalie Moisturizing Toner

"A purifying and moisturizing toner that boosts the effectiveness of your entire skincare regimen." - Sephora

Caudalie's Moisturizing Toner comes packaged in a simple plastic bottle with a pump lid. I don't really understand the purpose of this pump, as I think that it'd be much easier to just pour out a small amount onto a cotton ball. The pump has a tendency to squirt out too much product, and since this is a pricier product, it's a shame to waste any of it. Packaging aside, I love this toner. I use a toner morning and night after cleansing, which is why I need my toner to be hydrating. You don't want to be completely stripping your skin of its' natural oils, as than can lead to your skin overproducing oils. I find that this formula from Caudalie is the perfect balance between clarifying and moisturizing. There is a very slight scent to this toner, which combines notes of citrus flower, orange tree leaves, watermelon, and crushed mint. This toner is also alcohol free, making it super gentle, and perfect for those with sensitive skin. I think that from now on I'll be sticking to alcohol free toners, they're still very effective, and I always hated the idea of rubbing diluted alcohol on my skin! Even better, this formula is also paraben and sulfate free! This toner removes any remaining traces of makeup left behind after cleansing, and brings a nice luminosity to my skin.

Caudalie Moisturizing Toner

Overall, I'm extremely impressed with Caudalie's Moisturizing Toner! If you have sensitive skin, or you just enjoy using gentle yet effective products, I would highly recommend checking this out.

Do you use a toner as a part of your daily skincare routine?

    1. I don't know why companies still make toners with alcohol, seems so silly!

  5. This sounds so nice! I wonder if there's a way you can use it without having to use the pump? Like maybe find something else to use as a cap or transferring it to a different bottle?
