This past Saturday I had my convocation ceremony, which I was incredibly excited about! For the past 4 years I've attended the University of Ottawa, and I've received my Honours Bachelor of Arts with Specialization in Psychology program. I initially started out in the Joint Honours Psychology & Linguistics program, but quickly realized that linguistics just wasn't for me. I think that most students will agree that somewhere along the four year journey, you think about dropping out, quitting, taking a year off, etc. That thought definitely crossed my mine, but I'm really glad that I stuck with it. I'm so proud of myself for this accomplishment, and I'm actually the first in my family to not only attend university, but to also graduate. My convocation ceremony went very smoothly, and I was really happy to have Dylan and his parents there to support me.

So now I'm no longer a student, and I have to find a grown-up job. If anyone out there is reading this and wants to employ me, I'm open to offers! Haha, I'm kidding (but only somewhat)... If you're in university now, know that these four years (or however long it takes you) will fly by, so enjoy your time!
Congratulations, your parents must be very proud!
ReplyDeleteAlso your jumping picture is hilarious!
