You know when a beauty product is just so gorgeous, that you're scared to even swatch it When Lancôme's Golden Riviera Collection Star Bronzing Powder ($52 CAD/30g) and Bronzing Brush* ($58 CAD) arrived, I actually let out a sigh, and my jaw dropped. Lancôme knows how to make beautifully packaged limited edition makeup, and the products in their Golden Riviera Collection were no exception.
Lancôme's Golden Riviera Collection Star Bronzing Powder is truly beautiful to look at. The bronze packaging feels so luxe, and the bronzer comes with a pretty golden overspray. This gold shimmer does come off with the first use, which makes the compact a bit less pretty, but the actual bronzer more wearable. After the overspray is wiped off, the bronzer does still have some shimmer in the formula. This bronzer leans slightly orange, but I think that it really flatters my pale complexion. I don't used this bronzer for contouring, just to give my skin a bit of life & colour. The colour doesn't fade or oxidize throughout the day, which makes me very happy! This powder is seriously so creamy, it's definitely a beautiful product, and I've been wearing it every single day since I got it! This compact holds a massive 30 grams of product, so I don't think that I'll ever hit pan.
After the overspray has been removed
"The bevel-cut of the Star Bronzer Golden Riviera Bronzing Brush enables a diffuse application of the powder all over the face and neck for an ultra-natural result. Ideal for a precious and luminous sun-kissed look. Synthetic bristled brush." - Lancôme
The Star Bronzer Golden Riviera Bronzing Brush is a beautiful brush that would make anyone feel like a princess. I love that this brush is made from synthetic bristles, and it's still so incredibly soft. This brush is quite large, so it can easily be used on the face and body. I've mostly been using it on my face, and it applies a beautiful veil of bronzer that looks very natural. Since this brush is so large, it does require a few extra hours of drying time when you wash it.
These are limited edition products, so if you want them, you better pick them up ASAP. I know that the bronzer is sold out online, but I would definitely recommend stopping by your local Lancôme counter to see if they have any in stock.
