Lise Watier Light Cap Nail Lacquer in Rose Eden

Today I have another item to share with you from Lise Watier's limited edition Eden Tropical Collection. Their Light Cap Nail Lacquer in Rose Eden* ($13.50 CAD/12mL) fits perfectly into the Radiant Orchid craze this year. This packaging is also kind of genius - the cap has a built in light! You're probably thinking that this is a total gimmick, but it actually comes in extremely handy. I find that the light allowed me to paint within the lines, and I didn't end up with polish all over my cuticles like I normally would.

"A nail lacquer with a cap that has a small light to illuminate the nails for a more accurate application." - Lise Watier

Lise Watier's Nail Lacquer formula is on the thicker side, but it is still easy to work with. The shade Rose Eden is quite pigmented, but I still did need to use two coats. I found that this polish dried to a slightly dull finish, so I did make sure to use a top coat for added shine. This formula dried fairly quickly, and even though I painted my nails right before bed, I was happy to wake up with no sheet marks! Rose Eden is a beautiful orchid colour that I find to be really flattering as both a mani and pedi shade.

Built in light in the cap!

I really love the built in light feature, it makes application a lot easier! The formula of this polish was really good, and I love the colour. This shade is limited edition, and should be available until July 2014. Have you checked out Lise Watier's Eden Tropical Collection yet?

  3. Such a pretty colour! So cool that is has a light, although I usually don't paint my nails in the dark so I don't think I would get any use out of it haha

    1. There's a button on the lid! You just press it down to turn it on and off :)
