Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo, Condition & Fabulous Lengths Treatment

It's no secret, I colour my hair. Of course, I want my colour to last as long as possible, so I try to use the best possible hair care products. I've been putting Pureology's Strength Cure Shampoo, Condition & Fabulous Lengths Treatment* to the test - read on to hear my full thoughts on this new line!

"Keravis, Ceramide and Arginine help replace the depleted cystine content inside the cortex, while also healing the micro-scarred cuticle to provide a velvety soft touch.
Astaxanthin, the ultimate nature-derived antioxidant, coupled with our unique signature AntiFade ComplexTM, ensures colour preservation even on the weakest hair." - Pureology

Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo, Condition & Fabulous Lengths Treatment

Pureology's new Strength Cure line aims to instantly repair colour treated in just one application. The line comes packaged in these cute teal blue bottles. The product itself is a light pink colour, which I think is super fun! Pureology's Strength Cure Shampoo ($29.50/250 ml) is fairly liquidy/runny, but it creates a nice lather with just a small amount of product. I find that this shampoo is hydrating while still cleansing. Pureology's Strength Cure Condition ($31.50/250 ml) has a medium consistency. I normally like my conditioners to be a bit thicker, but there is a separate hair masque in this range. The directions say to apply this conditioner to hair and scalp for 1-2 minutes and then rinse. Pureology's Fabulous Lengths Treatment ($35/95 ml) works to strengthen the hair fiber to reduce breakage. I've been applying 3 pumps to damp hair, like a leave-in treatment. This treatment also provides heat protection, so you can go ahead and blowdry, curl, straighten, etc.

I really like how this line hydrates my hair without weighing it down, so my natural wave/curl still has some definition to it. My hair feels very soft and smooth, and my frizz is definitely under control! I've been putting off a haircut for far too long, and I do feel as though this line has helped to keep my hair in good shape between appointments.

If you have colour treated, damaged hair, you might want to give Pureology's Strength Cure line a try! There is also a hair masque and split end salve in the line, but I haven't tried them out. This line is made from 100% vegan ingredients, and the Shampoo & Condition bottles are made with 50% recycled materials, so you can feel good about the products that you're using.
