Revlon ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner in Black Out

I think that I maybe have a new favourite liquid liner...! I'll pick liquid liner over gel, pencil, kohl any day, I just love the intense pigmentation that I get from a liquid liner. While a lot of girls are terrified of liquid liners, I think that they're actually quite easy to use with a bit of practice. Revlon's ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner in Black Out* offers a super pigmented, intense black colour with an easy to control wand.

Revlon's ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner comes packaged in a small black plastic tube with a long thin handle. The brush itself is extremely tiny, measuring in at only 0.1mm! This thin tip allows for a very skinny, precise line, but you can also build up your liner fairly easily. I find that this brush is easy to control, thanks to the longer handle. The shade Black Out is the perfect black liner - it's crazy pigmented, and dries to a matte finish. If you typically wear a cat eye, then this brush might get some time to get used to. I personally like to to just have a tiny flick of liner, and this brush is perfect for that.

While this isn't a waterproof formula, I've still been very impressed with the wear time of this formula! You have about 30 seconds before this liner dries and sets - and then it's on your lids for good. I don't experience any flaking, smudging, fading, or irritation from this formula, and I get a good 12 hours of wear time from this liner! Definitely very impressed, good job Revlon! I've heard that this liner smudges on oily eyelids, but I haven't been able to test this out for myself.

  1. I can never seem to get on with liquid liners that are designed like this, I like the felt tip pen type ones but the pigmentation looks great on this xxx

    1. They do take some practice, but I find the pigmentation of liquid liners is just so much better than pencils!
