Kiehl's Lip Balm #1

The lip balm junkie in me is on a quest to try out every single lip balm on the market. This might sound crazy to you (and I guess it is), but I just love lip balms! I've recently fallen in love with
Kiehl's Lip Balm #1* ($8.50/15ml tube) which is a cult favourite from the brand.

Kiehl's Lip Balm #1

"Temporarily protects and helps relieve chapped or cracked lips. Helps protect lips from the drying effects of wind and cold weather.
Lip Balm #1 was used during the 1988 Mt. Everest Expedition." - Kiehl's

Kiehl's Lip Balm #1

Kiehl's always has such simple packaging, and the same goes for their Lip Balm #1. This balm comes in a simple white plastic tube with black writing. The products squeezes out easily, and you will have to rub it in with your fingers. This isn't the most sanitary option, but it's a great "at-home" lip balm. I've been applying this at night before bed, and my lips still feel hydrated when I wake up in the morning. This formula is a thick petroleum product, which explains why it's so hydrating! This balm gives a very subtle balmy look to your lips, and a thick layer will make your lips look glossy. There isn't any scent to this balm, but there are scented version available (mango, vanilla, and coconut!).

If you have dry, cracked, or chapped lips, I think you'll love this balm - it's so soothing and hydrating! Since this is such a cult product, I wanna know if you've tried it before!? What's your current go-to balm?

    1. Oh nice, I don't think I've tried that one!
Twist ups are definitely more convenient, but I've been loving this type of formula lately cause it can be sooo moisturizing!
