This July, Sally Hansen has released their limited edition Xtreme Wear Sea Bloom Collection*, which is available exclusively at Walmart. These polishes are super affordable, ringing in at only $2.47 a bottle, which means that picking up the entire collection is entirely possible. Read on for swatches & reviews on each of the 8 polishes in this ocean-inspired collection!
This summer, there will be a palette of eight on-trend oceanic shades to choose from: Pearl Up, Peach Babe, Floaties, Teeny Bikini, You’re Crabby, Water Orchid, Wet Suit and Kelp Yourself." - Sally Hansen
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Floaties is a beautiful pastel orange shade with a great formula. I only had to use two thin coats for an opaque, streak-free finish.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Peach Babe is actually more of a pinky peach shade. The formula of this polish was excellent - 2 thin coats and you're good to go!
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Pearl Up is a sheer pearl shade. I used two thin coats, and as you can see, this polish is still quite sheer. I have seen opaque swatches of this polish with 4+ coats, but I do think that it's meant to be worn sheer.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Kelp Yourself is a pretty mint green shade with a good formula. I used two thin coats, which left most of my nails looking great, but there was some streakiness on my ring finger. As with most mint polishes, this one might take a bit of extra work to make it look absolutely perfect.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Wet Suit is a beautiful bright blue with a creamy, pigmented formula.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in You're Crabby is a pretty pink, but the formula can be a bit streaky (as you can see on my ring finger).
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Water Orchid is a gorgeous pastel lilac - seriously, I'm in love with this polish! This formula was super creamy and easy to work with. Two coats gave an opaque, smooth finish.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Teeny Bikini is a Summer appropriate yellow polish with a surprisingly good formula! Yellow polishes have a tendency to be super streaky and hard to work with, but Teeny Bikini painted on smooth with two thin coats.
My favourites from this collection are Water Orchid, Wet Suit, Peach Babe, Floaties, and Teeny Bikini. This collection is limited edition, so if you're loving any of these shades I would recommend picking them up sooner rather than later. At only $2.47 a pop, you really can't go wrong with any of the shades in this collection!
Omgosh, I love, love, love these colours! What a gorgeous collection!!
