The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub

I've been using The Body Shop's Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub* ($15/150 mL) since March, and I can't believe that I haven't reviewed it yet! I've been keeping this bottle in my shower, and I use it roughly every other day. I'm a huge fan of The Body Shop's Tea Tree line, and I'm hoping to slowly try out all of the products in the range!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub

"This skin-clearing facial scrub combines micro-fine exfoliants with bursting beads to help unclog pores without over-drying. Use a few times a week for skin that feels super clean and instantly smooth.
  • Suitable for blemished skin
  • Skin instantly feels soft, smooth and super clean
  • Pores look visibly clearer and face feels purified" - The Body Shop
The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub

The Body Shop's Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub is green in colour, like most of their tea tree products are. This does have that classic tea tree scent, which I find that most people either love or hate. I actually used to hate the scent, but it's grown on my over the years and now I enjoy it. This scent is very invigorating, so I find that this is a great product to use in the morning to give you an extra boost of energy. This formula is a bit thinner than most exfoliants, which I like since it makes it a bit more gentle. The tea tree line is meant for those with blemished skin, so you don't want to be using anything too rough or harsh. There are tiny beads in this scrub that give a light exfoliation, and wash down your drain very easily. Contrary to the name, I don't find that this scrub leaves my skin with that tight, squeaky clean feeling. I personally don't like that feeling, so I love that this scrub doesn't dry out my skin to that extent. In fact, this formula is actually slightly hydrating!

If you have slightly blemished skin, then I would definitely recommend adding this scrub into your skin care routine a few times per week. I don't think that this scrub will heal cystic acne, but it's been working wonderfully for my occasional breakout.

Have you tried anything from The Body Shop's Tea Tree line?

    1. Oh really?! I don't find that the stores are that scented, definitely not as much as Lush stores are!
