I've tried a bunch of the Montagne Jeunesse face masks, but did you know that there's also a premium line available called 7th Heaven? The first mask that I tried from this line was the Detox Mud Face Masque* ($2.99 CAD/17g). Read on to learn all about it!
"Detox your skin with cooling glacial mud…Grime, sweat and tears can really mess you up, that’s why we unearthed natural glacial mud, so you can detox and de-stress inside and out.
GLACIAL MUD cleans and invigorates the skin which in turn offers improved skin tone and more importantly a more youthful appearance.
ORGANIC WHITE TEA is a superb tonic which protects the skin from the elements and helps to reverse some of the damages.
ORGANIC WITCH HAZEL is a strong astringent, cleansing the skin.
ORGANIC QUILLAJA from the soap bark tree to naturally cleanse the skin." - Farley Co.
Montagne Jeunesse's 7th Heaven Detox Mud Face Masque comes in a single use packet, which contains enough product for a thin layer over my entire face and neck. I love that this mask was green, it reminded me of the typical face mask that you see in the movies! This formula had a strong scent, that was almost a bit minty. Since this is a clay mask, it will harden on your skin. The instructions say to leave this mask on your face for 15-20 minutes, but I found that I was ready to remove it after 10-12 minutes. This mask gave my skin a slight tingly feeling, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. I was pleased by how easily this mask removed with just a bit of warm water and facial cleanser. My skin was left feeling soft, purified, and cleansed - sounds good to me!
If you're looking for a pampering face mask that works to detox and purify your skin, then I think you'd enjoy Montagne Jeunesse's 7th Heaven Detox Mud Face Masque. I love these simple use packets for travel, since you can just throw one in your bag and go! Have you tried anything from the 7th Heaven line before? How often do you use face masks?
