Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in #125 To Nude or Not to Nude? & #360 As You Want Victoria

Rimmel has reformulated their Moisture Renew Lipstick line, and I've been trying out the shades #125 To Nude or Not to Nude? & #360 As You Want Victoria* ($7.99 CAD/4g). I don't believe that I've ever tried the original Moisture Renew formula, so unfortunately I won't be able to compare the two. I am able to say that this new formula is one of the best drugstore offerings that I've tried! Read on for a full review and swatches...

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick Labels

Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipsticks come packaged in simple plastic purple tubes with colour coordinated labels. These lipsticks do have a bit of a scent to them, and it almost reminds me of sunscreen. While I don't mind the scent, I know that it won't be to everyone's tastes. This formula is hydrating, and feels creamy on my lips. As You Want Victoria leaves behind a light stain after the colour starts to wear off, but the stain wasn't as noticeable with To Nude or Not to Nude?. I'd be interested in trying out more shades from the line to see how the formula varies with different shades and finishes.

To Nude or Not to Nude? is a pearly pink with a frosty finish. I really love shades like this, as I find them super easy to apply on the go without a mirror. This shade lasted 3 hours on my lips before it started to slowly fade.

As You Want Victoria is a highly pigmented hot pink lipstick. Seriously, this lipstick has crazy pigmentation! One swipe is all you'll need for full on colour. I love this hot pink shade - I think that it's the perfect bright lip for Summer! I got 4 hours of wear from this shade before it started to fade, but even then a slight stain was left behind.

I'm really impressed with both of these shades! I can't get over the pigmentation of As You Want Victoria, especially from a drugstore lipstick. There are 22 shades in this line, and I'm definitely wanting to try out a lot more of them! Have you tried any of Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipsticks? Which shades are your favourites?
