The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil

I love oils - for body, hair, cuticles, and for my face. The Body Shop has recently released their new Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil* ($28 CAD/28 mL), and I've been trying it out for the past 6 weeks. If the thought of applying oil to your skin freaks you out, don't be scared! Oils can be incredibly nourishing, hydrating, and calming to the skin, even if you have an oily skin type.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil

The Body Shop's Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil comes packaged in a cute little pink bottle with a handy dropper. This oil has a nice scent to it - almost like a floral sunscreen, but I really enjoy it. If you're scent-sensitive, then this product probably won't be for you. I take about 3 drops of this oil at night, and apply it all over my face and neck, gently patting it into my skin. If your skin is very dry, you can also apply a moisturizer, but I don't find that to be necessary for my skin type. This oil takes about 5 minutes to fully absorb into my skin, which isn't too bad for an oil. I find that my skin looks radiant in the morning, and it feels hydrated and supple. What more could I ask for?!

If you've never used a facial oil before, then I think that The Body Shop's Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil is a good place to start. I really love the scent, the lightweight formula, and how effective this oil is! Have you given this new formula a try yet? Are you also a fan of facial oils?

  1. I love facial oils, but I only use them at night. I have to admit that the price sticker on that is a bit high for my liking. I have used a quality EV olive oil or all-natural baby oil in the past and found them to have great results at a fraction of the cost. Have you ever tried using OO or baby oil? Victoria Ess

  3. Glad you're liking this! I sampled it a while back and it really is quite nice. I have other facial oils that I prefer slightly, but this definitely is a great option for the right price :)
