Clarins Sunscreen Spray Oil-Free Lotion SPF 15

Summer might be (sadly) coming to an end soon, but it's important to use a good sunscreen all year round. I've been trying out Clarins' Sunscreen Spray Oil-Free Lotion SPF 15* ($35 CAD/5.1 oz) for the past few weeks, and it's about time that I shared my thoughts on it with you!

Clarins' Sunscreen Spray Oil-Free Lotion SPF 15 reminds me of the those bottles of tanning oil with an SPF 2 or 4. Those oils are bad for you, this sunscreen from Clarins is good for you and your skin. This formula is packaged in a tall orange plastic bottle with a spray-pump applicator. This is a liquid sunscreen, but it's also oil-free. There's that traditional sunscreen scent to this product, and it does linger on my skin for a few hours. I use about 2 pumps on each arm, 3 on each leg, 1 on my stomach, and 1 on my back. This liquid feels very similar to a dry oil, and I love how quickly it absorbs into my skin. You can easily spray this on, and then head right to the beach without feeling sticky, oily, etc. This formula contains SPF 15, so it will provide medium coverage. I like to use this sunscreen on days when I won't be out in the sun for long - just on my walk to work in the morning and afternoon. If I'm going to be spending a full day outside I do like to use a product with a higher SPF.

This is such an easy sunscreen to apply - it absorbs almost instantly, has a pleasant scent, and doesn't feel sticky on my skin. There's really no excuse to skip the sunscreen when you have a bottle of this stuff lying around! What sunscreens have you been loving this Summer?

  1. Sounds awesome! Love that it's a spray and not a great lotion :)

  2. There are sprays sold for airbrushing. When the tanning liquid is airbrushed on to the person, it avoids tanning los angeles streaks and unevenness. Airbrushing gives a very flat and unclogged tan. For airbrushing tans, people usually need to go to salons.
