Lancôme French Idole Collection Vernis in Love

Lancôme's French Idole Collection hit stores this August, and today I have the three Vernis in Love shades to share with you! All three polishes are perfect for Fall/Winter - rich jewel tones and subtle shimmer. Lancôme's polishes are quite small, holding only 6 mL, but luckily you still get a full size brush with these bottles! I don't mind a smaller bottle of polish, because really, I've only used completely up a handful of polishes in my lifetime.

"Especially for this collection, Lancôme presents three new Vernis In Love shades. Inspired by the rich hues of precious stones, a purple pomegranate, an intense, dark khaki and a near-black crimson adorn nails in subtly iridescent shimmer thanks to just the right dose of iridescent pigments. Match them up to your look, your mood or your latest whim…" - Lancôme

Lancôme's Améthyste Brune* is a deepened eggplant with a hint of shimmer. This polish has that "almost-black" feel, especially when you're not in natural lighting. I wish that this polish was just a bit lighter, since I find that it can look a bit muddled/dull on my nails.

Lancôme's Topaze Rose* is a beautiful berry/wine shade, and it's my favourite from the collection. I wore this polish for 4 days without chipping, and during that time I received so many compliments on this colour!

Lancôme's Tourmaline Noire* is a very dark black with green/khaki undertones. There's also a hint of shimmer in this polish, which makes it a little bit less gothic/vampy. I found this formula to be a bit on the sheer side, so I did have to use 3 coats for an opaque finish.

My favourite from this collection is definitely Topaze Rose! But, that being said, I don't think that there's anything from this collection that is incredibly unique in my collection. Lancôme's polishes are $18 each, so they're definitely a bit of a splurge. All three polishes are nice, but they just didn't blow me away. Is anything from Lancôme's French Idole Collection catching your eye?
