Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in Shanghai Sizzle

I'm already a fan of Revlon's ColorStay Moisture Stains, and I've been wanting to try out a few more shades. Well, luckily I've received four more gorgeous shades to try out, and today I'll be sharing Revlon's ColorStay Moisture Stain in Shanghai Sizzle* ($12.95 CAD/8.mL). There are a total of twelve shades in this new formula, and the names are inspired by various cities around world. The formula is a hybrid gloss, stain, and balm - sounds pretty amazing, right?!

• Ultra-light creamy lipstain with Vitamin E and Aloe
• 88% of women felt lips were instantly moisturized without stickiness - Revlon

Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in Shanghai Sizzle

Revlon's ColorStay Moisture Stains come in simple rectangular packaging with black lids and see through tubes. I really like this packaging, it looks very high-end in my opinion! The applicator is a slanted doe foot, extremely similar to the applicators on YSL's Glossy Stains. There is a very slight plasticy scent to these glosses, but I can't smell it once they're on my lips. The formula of Revlon's ColorStay Moisture Stains is fairly thick and creamy, and the opacity is really great. Initially this formula looks very glossy on my lips, but after about 3 hours the gloss fades, but the stain remains. I've worn Shanghai Sizzle while eating, and the stain definitely outlasts a hearty meal! The gloss will transfer while eating/drinking, but the stain still sticks around. I think that this formula is comfortable to wear, it's creamy, hydrating, and plush.

Shanghai Sizzle is a gorgeous bright orange with red undertones. The pigmentation of this shade is pretty incredible - one swipe is all you'll need! Oranges can sometimes make my teeth look a bit yellow, but I was happy that I didn't have that problem with Shanghai Sizzle. I think that this is such a fun colour for Summer!

Another winner from Revlon! Shanghai Sizzle is a shade that will get you noticed, for all the right reasons. For such a bright colour, this formula is very low maintenance, since the stain sticks around for hours and hours. I definitely think that Revlon's ColorStay Moisture Stains are worth checking out, and there should be a colour available to suit everyone's tastes!
