Revlon's ColorStay Moisture Stains come in simple rectangular packaging with black lids and see through tubes. I really like this packaging, it looks very high-end in my opinion! The applicator is a slanted doe foot, extremely similar to the applicators on YSL's Glossy Stains. There is a very slight plasticy scent to these glosses, but I can't smell it once they're on my lips. The formula of Revlon's ColorStay Moisture Stains is fairly thick and creamy, and the opacity is really great. Initially this formula looks very glossy on my lips, but after about 3 hours the gloss fades, but the stain remains. The gloss will transfer while eating/drinking, but the stain still sticks around. I think that this formula is comfortable to wear, it's creamy, hydrating, and plush.
India Intrigue is a gorgeous blue based pink with a hint of iridescent shimmer. I used two layers of this colour to get a nice opaque finish. Since I love wearing pink lips, this is definitely a shade that I can see myself reaching for all year round. The shimmer is very fine, and I love that it doesn't feel gritty on my lips. Once the gloss wears off, the stain sticks around for a few additional hours, making this formula fairly low-maintenance. I would recommend using a mirror for the initial application, since this shade is quite pigmented.
Wow, this is a product that I'm definitely going to try! Thanks for the great description!
