Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in #630 Coral Britannia

Rimmel has reformulated their Moisture Renew Lipstick line, and I've already fallen in love with the shades #125 To Nude or Not to Nude? & #360 As You Want Victoria. I've been wanting to try out more shades from this newly reformulated line, so I was happy to get the chance to try out #630 Coral Britannia* ($7.99 CAD/4g)!

"Rimmel introduces new and improved Moisture Renew Lipstick, an intensely moisturising lipstick in rich pure hues. Lips are drenched in colour and soaked in moisture thanks to vitamins A, C and E. Saturate your lips with a deluge of 22 high impact shades." - Rimmel

Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipsticks come packaged in simple plastic purple tubes with colour coordinated labels. These lipsticks do have a bit of a scent to them, and it almost reminds me of sunscreen. While I don't mind the scent, I know that it won't be to everyone's tastes. This formula is hydrating, and feels creamy on my lips.

Coral Britannia is a pinky peach that adds a pop of colour to my lips without being completely opaque. I think that this is a great colour option for someone who is just starting to wear coloured lipsticks (as opposed to nude shades). This colour does have a tendency to cling to dry patches, so you might benefit from exfoliating your lips first. I get about 4 hours of wear from these Moisture Renew Lipsticks before I need to reapply. This colour does transfer slightly when eating/drinking, but it isn't too bad.

The formula of Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipsticks seems to differ slightly from shade to shade, especially in terms of opacity. Coral Britannia is a beautiful Summer shade, and I think that it would look flattering on most women. Have you tried any of Rimmel's new Moisture Renew Lipsticks? Which shades are your favourites?

  1. It's pretty and a good everyday shade! I'm all about pink lipsticks lately, so I'd for sure try wearing this.
