"Formulated with imperial black sugar, revered in japan for its fortifying virtues, this versatile (‘tasai’ in japanese) styling cream offers texture, structure and definition to all hair types, as well as softness and shine for a silky touch. With a water-cream texture tasai cream can create either smoothness or provide curl definition. Tasai cream adapts to many styles with varied hold, due to its cumulative, layered application." - Shu Uemura
After applying my hair oil, I take one pump of Shu Uemura's Tasai Cream and apply it to the bottom half of my damp hair. This cream is quite thin, and very light in texture. The scent is very light and reminiscent of a salon, which I really like. At first I was skeptical that a cream this thin could do anything for my thick, coarse hair, but I was pleasantly surprised! My hair is left feeling smooth, hydrated, and with a boost of shine! My waves are a bit more defined, and look very natural. My frizz is greatly reduced, and my hair is less poofy - my waves are sleeker. Pretty much, this product just works to make my hair look like a better, sleeker version. It makes my hair look like my hair, but better.
Shu Uemura's Tasai Cream is such a lifesaver, and pretty much an all in one product! I love the softness and shine that this product brings to my locks, and the light definition to my curls is such a bonus. Looks like I have a new go-to hair product! Have you tried Shu Uemura's Tasai Cream before? What are your favourite hair styling products? :)
Thanks for sharing your review of this! This sounds like a great product to use whilst on holiday, as the humidity often has a 'frizzing' effect on my hair! Thanks very much for following me on Bloglovin', I've returned the favour.. have a fantastic weekend :)
