Happy Sunday friends! Today I'm bringing you another polish from Essie's Dress to Kilt/Fall 2014 Collection, Take it Outside*. This polish just screams Fall/Winter to me, so I was excited to try it out. When the weather gets cooler, I definitely start to switch gears, and reach for more muted and vampy polishes.
"Want to start trouble? Don this punchy,
fresh taupe with a whisper of pink and
hit ‘em with your best shot."
Essie's Take it Outside is a beautiful cool toned grey shade. This shade might seem a bit boring in the bottle, but I was surprised by how much I loved this colour! Take it Outside is a great staple neutral polish that would make a great addition to any polish collection. This formula is thick, creamy, and easy to work with. Essie polishes do have a super skinny brush, which I'm kind of on the fence about. On one hand, the thin brush allows you to easily stay within the lines, but you do have to use more brush strokes to cover each nail. This formula dried fairly quickly, and with a super shiny finish! I did have minor chipping on day 2, even when using Essie's First Base as a base coat.
Essie's Take it Outside is surprisingly flattering for a grey polish, I'm really surprised and impressed! This shade is perfect for both Fall & Winter, and I think that it would go well with almost any outfit. Essie's Dress to Kilt Collection is available now for a limited time - have you picked up any of Essie's fall shades yet?
