As with most of Kiehl's products, their Ultra Facial Cream comes packaged in a simple white plastic tub. There is a very light crisp, clean scent to this moisturizer. The formula was actually tested out in Greenland, during "Greenland's First Ascent" expedition. This moisturizer aims to retain its' efficacy in very cold, dry, and extreme conditions. One of the key ingredients is Antarcticine, which is a glacial glycoprotein found in Antarctica. This formula also uses Imperata Cylindrica, a desert plant extract that is indigenous to the Australian Outback. I love that Kiehl's was able to combine ingredients from both the Arctic and the desert, so your skin is sure to be protected, no matter what elements you expose it to. I find this formula to be very hydrating, but still lightweight in texture. This cream absorbs fairly quickly into my skin, so you can easily use it both morning and night. If you have oily skin, you might want to reserve this as a night cream only.
I absolutely love when companies team up with charities, and this partnership is no exception! If you want to try out an amazing moisturizer, as well as support the Simple Plan Foundation, then stop by your local Kiehl's store to pick up a tub of this limited edition Ultra Facial Cream!
Thanks for sharing! Ill have to look into this charity :)
