Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine

I've mentioned my lip balm addiction quite a few times over the years on this blog, and lately I've been trying out Korres' Lip Butter in Jasmine* ($16 CAD/0.21 oz). I've tried the shade Pomegranate before, but I've always been curious about Jasmine. Pomegranate was actually quite pigmented, but Jasmine is fairly sheer.

"This rich butter leaves lips deeply moisturized, supple, and kissably soft. Korres Lip Butters are formulated with natural oils and extracts to soothe and condition lips. Shea butter and rice wax provide lasting hydration and softness. This shiny, juicy pop of color comes in an array of "flavors" and is ideal for dry lips." - Sephora

Korres' Lip Butters come packaged in small pots, similar to The Body Shop's Lip Butters. Each pot contains 6 grams of product, which should last you quite a while. These Lip Butters are so creamy and hydrating, they really do have a buttery feel! I absolutely love this formula, and I think it would work to heal even chapped lips. Korres does have a clear balm in this line, called Guava, which I need to check out.

This tinted lip balm lasts on my lips for about 4 hours before I feel the need to reapply. If you have dry or chapped lips, this balm might be perfect for your lips. I find that a lot of tinted lip balms accentuate dryness, but this one from Korres tends to simply hydrate my lips, and doesn't cling to dry spots. Jasmine is a very sheer, glossy light pink colour. I don't think that I'd really reach for Jasmine as a lipstick or tinted lip balm, but just as a lip balm. I love how hydrating and creamy this formula is, and I don't mind the sheer colour. Jasmine would also work really well over top of pink lipsticks, adding a hint of shine and deep hydration.

If you're already a fan of the more pigmented shades in Korres' Lip Butter range, then I think you'd be happy with the shade Jasmine as an everyday lip balm! Now I'm wanting to try out the shades Quince and Wild Rose, as they both look gorgeous, and I already know that I love the creamy formula. Have you tried any of Korres Lip Butters before? Which shade is your favourite?
