L'Occitane Shea Ultra Rich Face Scrub

Scrubs are one of my favourite skin care products, whether it be body scrubs, facial exfoliators, or lip scrubs. My latest love has been L'Occitane's Shea Ultra Rich Face Scrub* ($35/3.5 oz), which is a very thick, creamy, and luxurious facial scrub!

L'Occitane Shea Ultra Rich Face Scrub

"The Ultra Rich Face Scrub has been specially formulated to gently exfoliate dry or very dry skin. Its finely ground nutshells help to efficiently eliminate dead skin cells and impurities. Its creamy base, enriched in shea butter (10%) and chestnut extract, helps the skin to maintain its natural moisture level. Skin is left perfectly clear, smooth and soft. Skin texture is refined and the complexion is more luminous." - L'Occitane

L'Occitane's Shea Ultra Rich Face Scrub is a very thick cream with small to medium sized ground nutshells. This formula is made with 10% Shea butter, which makes it super hydrating and creamy. I absolutely adore the scent of this scrub, it's light, nutty, and calming. I take a pea sized amount, and lightly massage it over my damp skin. Then I rinse thoroughly, and pat my skin dry. I find that this scrub helps to remove any dead skin cells, and leaves my skin feeling smooth, refined, and cleansed. I love that this formula isn't too harsh, and it doesn't make my skin feel stripped or dry. The packaging is also quite nice - a small round tub with a twist off lid. You can easily scoop out your desired amount, and you'll be able to get every last drop out - no waste!

This is a very luxurious, creamy, and delicious-smelling scrub by L'Occitane! If you have dry skin and find traditional scrubs too drying or rough, then you might really like this formula. I've been using it 2-3 times a week, and I've really been enjoying it! Have you tried this, or any other scrubs from L'Occitane?

  2. When you have slick skin, as I do, your face has a tendency to be shinier than every other person. Base on my encounters, one approach to diminish the sparkle and keep your face skin inflammation free, crisp and satisfactory is to wash it with an "oil free" chemical that have no less than 2% of salicylic corrosive.
