I'm a huge fan of hair oils - my super dry, thick hair craves the hydration that only an oil can give. I've been trying out Matrix's Biolage ExquisiteOil Tamanu Oil Blend*, which is one of the first products from the brand that I've ever tried. Let's just say that we're off to a good start!
"Oil infused haircare provides many benefits to all types of hair. ExquisiteOil Strengthening Treatment is formulated with Polynesian Tamanu Oil for a ultra lightweight, scented oil that strenghtens thin, fragile hair.
● Strengthens hair by boosting resistance to breakage
● Replenishes hair with moisture and conditioning
● Adds exquisite shine" - Matrix
Matrix's Tamanu Oil Blend comes packaged in a sleek tall pink plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The oil itself is clear in colour, and it's quite thin in texture. There are a few different ways that you can use this oil. You can use this as a pre-shampoo treatment on dry hair, during conditioning, or as a finisher on damp hair. I've used this oil all three ways, and it works really well no matter how you use it! I use 3-4 pumps of this oil, and concentrate it on the bottom half of my hair. My ends can get a bit dry, and I love how this oil keeps everything feeling hydrated and looking naturally shiny. My hair is more manageable and less frizzy after using a few drops of this oil.
There is a light salon scent to this oil, and I really love the scent! This oil is meant for those with fine, thin hair, so I'm surprised by how much I'm loving it on my crazy thick hair. I also love how this oil doesn't weigh down my hair, or make it look greasy. That's never a good look!
If you're in the market for a new hair oil, then I would definitely recommend checking out Matrix's Biolage ExquisiteOil Tamanu Oil Blend - I've really been enjoying it! What's your favourite hair oil? Have you tried any of the ExquisiteOil's from Matrix?
This oil sounds lovely & perfect for my thin, dry hair!
