Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamel in High Stakes

Revlon's ColorStay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamel in High Stakes* ($7.99) is one polish that you're going to want to add to your collection this Fall! I'm already a huge fan of this new polish line from Revlon, and this forest green shade did not disappoint.

"Create salon-quality colour in 30 vibrant shades with our revolutionary 2-step system. Brush on the base + colour in one, and then finish with the protective ColorStay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat™ for superior strength. Together, they create vivid colour, brilliant shine and gorgeous life-resistant wear." - Revlon

This formula that claims to be a longwear formula with a super shiny finish when worn with their Diamond Top Coat. I can get 3-4 days of wear from this formula before it starts to chip - better than traditional polish, but it's not incredibly long-wearing. This wear time doesn't exactly rival that of a true gel polish, but I love that you don't have to bother with an LED lamp or pay the big bucks at the salon.

High Stakes has an incredibly creamy, thick, and pigmented formula. I almost got away with only one coat, but I always like to add a second coat to make sure that my mani looks flawless. I didn't have any issues with bald spots, streaking, etc., and this polish dried fairly quickly. I finished off my mani with Revlon's Diamond Top Coat, which gives a super shiny finish to this polish, making it look more like a gel mani. High Stakes is such a great shade for Fall, and it's one that I can definitely see myself reaching for again and again.

I would definitely recommend checking out Revlon's new ColorStay Gel Envy line, and there's bound to be a colour for everyone! I have a few more shades to share with you, so keep an eye out for those reviews over the next few weeks. Check out my previous reviews of Winning Streak, Full House, Wild Card, and Cardshark. Have you checked out these polishes yet? Which shade is your favourite?

  4. I really like this colour. And 3-4 days is pretty impressive since most polish chips within a day or two (for me anyway!).

    1. Thanks! Ya, it's definitely not bad! Just not comparable to a 2 week gel mani :)
