Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in #310 Back to Fuchsia

Rimmel has reformulated their Moisture Renew Lipstick line, and I've already fallen in love with the shades #125 To Nude or Not to Nude? & #360 As You Want Victoria, and #630 Coral Britannia. I've been wanting to try out more shades from this newly reformulated line, so I was happy to get the chance to try out #310 Back to Fuchsia * ($7.99 CAD/4g)!

Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipsticks come packaged in simple plastic purple tubes with colour coordinated labels. These lipsticks do have a bit of a scent to them, and it almost reminds me of sunscreen. While I don't mind the scent, I know that it won't be to everyone's tastes. This formula is hydrating, and feels extremely creamy on my lips.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in #310 Back to Fuchsia

Back to Fuchsia is an insanely gorgeous purply pink with blue undertones. You'll only need one swipe of this lipstick as this shade is very pigmented. I would definitely recommend using a mirror and perhaps a lip liner or lip brush to make sure that this lipstick stays inside the lines. This is definitely a shade that I can see myself reaching for on a night out. Back to Fuchsia will get you noticed, in the best way possible. This is a creme formula - no shimmer or glitter here! The creme shades in this formula seem to have a more pigmented, creamier formula than the shades with shimmer (although I haven't tried all of the shades).

This updated formula from Rimmel is pretty fantastic, and Back to Fuchsia is a shade that is definitely worth checking out. If you love bright lips, then you'll love this one. Have you tried Rimmel's new Moisture Renew Lipstick formula, or were you a fan of the old formula? Would you wear a lippie this bright?

  6. Yeah, these are seriously pigmented, and might be the most pigmented in my stash! I for one, seriously dislike the scent though, haha. I'm glad it fades away quickly, but it just smells so...plasticky ._.
