I've been trying out a few products from Burberry's beauty range lately, and today I'm talking all about their Light Glow Earthy Blush No. 07* ($49 CAD/7g)! This was the first beauty item that I've tried from the luxury brand, and I was extremely excited about it. Firstly, I obviously love blush, and secondly, Burberry is a brand that I've always loved.
- Burberry Light Glow contains silicones for effortless and even application and wild rose extract for moisturising benefits
- The complexion glows with natural looking radiance
- Apply to the hollow of the cheeks to slim the face or apply to the cheek bone to highlight"-Burberry
Burberry's Light Glow Earthy Blush is beautifully packaged in a chrome/metallic square compact. Complete with a magnetic closure, soft brush, and large mirror, you'll easily be able to take this blush with you for on the go touch-ups. This blush has a very floral scent to it, and actually contains wild rose, which provides moisturizing benefits.
This blush is what I would typically call a bronzer - a matte light brown shade. The formula is extremely soft and creamy, and the colour blends out effortlessly. On my pale skin, I don't love this colour as a blush. I always feel as though I need to mix this brown shade with and orange or coral blush, to bring some life to my cheeks. I do love this as a bronzer though. So, the use of this powder will really depend on your skin tone and personal preferences. As I've said, this formula is very nice to work with, and it lasts for about 8-9 hours on my skin before starting to fade - pretty impressive!
While I'm not the biggest fan of this shade as a blush, I do really like it as a natural bronzer. The formula is fantastic, as it should be for the luxurious price tag. Would you wear a matte brown blush? Have you tried any products from Burberry's beauty line?
This does seem to work perfectly as a bronzer! I've yet to try any Burberry makeup, but I'm ultra tempted :)

I'm just getting into the brand! Their packaging is incredible :)
DeleteHmm I don't love it immediately but I think if paired with a matte pink this could work. Also eyeshadow right? Many possibilities..?
ReplyDeleteVery true! I have to try mixing this with Bobbi Brown's Pale Pink, I think that'd be a great combo! :)
DeleteWow, what a unique blush shade!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely unique in my collection!
