Dermalogica Redness Relief Primer SPF20

Dermalogica's new Redness Relief Primer SPF20* ($62 CAD/22 mL) promises to calm skin & camouflage redness, and I've been putting it to the test! I really only get redness around my nose, so that's where I've been focusing this primer every morning before I apply my foundation.

Dermalogica's Redness Relief Primer SPF20 comes packaged in a slim plastic tube. The tube actually comes with a really handy tube-squeezer (pictured above), so you can get every last drop of primer out! This primer is thick & creamy, but it sinks into the skin quickly, and leaves a matte finish to my skin. This primer has a silicone base, which will leave your skin feeling silky smooth. There is a green tint to this primer (made from natural botanical extracts), which will help to conceal any redness in your skin. The green tint fades into my pale skin, so don't worry - you won't end up looking like Shrek! I find that this primer helps to reduce the look of pores and redness on my nose - my 2 biggest skin care concerns for my nose! To top things off, this primer contains SPF 20, which will help protect your skin from harmful UVA & UVB rays.

If you have sensitive skin that tends to be quite red, then I think you'll absolutely love this primer from Dermalogica! The formula is both calming and effective - what more could you ask for? If you have redness in your skin, I'd love to know what products you swear by!

  1. Dermalogica is a wonderful brand .. I haven't tried this product as I don't have sensitive skin.

  2. This is definitely tempting, as my oily skin always suffers from redness. Love that it has SPF too :)
